One pole cost the Snr Int SJ team a win at Crofton

Jessie, Karen & Sharon had all got double clears in the team jumping this weekend (21st February) and so where looking strong into the jump off. As Sharon entered the ring all she had to do was have a clear jump off like her two team mates before her, to take the 1st place.

Everything was going to plan then at the very last jump Sharons horses back foot touched the pole and it rolled to the floor. They really couldnt have been any closer to a win, but it just wasnt thier day. They took a well deserved 2nd place and then settled into to helping the jnrs warm up.

The snr novice team also had a productive day with lots of experience gained by the team.

Unfortunately they didnt place, but they all have come back to island ready to work hard for next time. The novice teams arent seasoned travellers and everytime the horses and riders go to an event like this, it offers them that all important opportunity.

The jnr novice team had a fantastic day as they also where placed 2nd in their class. No dramatic jump off needed for the jnrs, but all riders jumped 2 rounds. As with the snr novice team, essential experience has been gained, as well as some lovely photos and a rosette.

Well done all of you.
